Corporate—oil and gasIn the “Windows XP” change management project, Lisa worked with staff from across the organization including field and international staff to conduct surveys and interviews. In addition, a hands-on approach to the technology was important, so Lisa conducted pilots with various key employees. She presented a communications approach to the CIO and gave presentations to employees about the system and what to expect during roll-out of the new technology, providing the base to develop and implement a detailed communications plan/timeline. According to internal employee surveys, the Windows XP roll-out was the most successful technology change project the company had ever experienced.
Corporate--pipelineLisa worked on a technology change management project that directly impacted customers. Lisa (along with company business representatives) facilitated customer and employee surveys and focus groups to determine technology needs, current use of customer technology and concerns with the new technology. She presented these results to senior staff and created a summary document for all focus group participants. Lisa’s final deliverable was a communications plan and detailed timeline, which was implemented by the Company. Additionally, she worked with a writer to create a critical regulatory paper, which reflected the work of a large industry task force.
